Role Overview:

As a Materials Testing Engineer at AECTL, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory and field tests on various materials to ensure compliance with industry standards. You will analyse test results, prepare reports, and provide insights to support engineering and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform materials testing on concrete, metals, coatings, and other construction materials

· Conduct laboratory and on-site tests, including compressive strength, tensile strength, and durability assessments

· Interpret test results and prepare technical reports

· Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ASTM, AS, ISO)

· Maintain testing equipment and ensure calibration requirements are met

· Work closely with clients, engineers, and inspectors to provide accurate data and recommendations

Requirements:

· Degree or diploma in Materials Engineering, or a related field

· Experience in materials testing, preferably in a laboratory or field setting (Advantageous but not essential)

· Familiarity with industry standards such as ASTM, AS/NZS, and ISO

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
