Welding Supervisor/Inspector

As a Welding Supervisor/Inspector at AECTL, you will oversee welding activities, ensuring compliance with industry codes and quality standards. Your role will involve inspecting welds, supervising welding teams, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise welding operations and ensure compliance with applicable codes (e.g., AS/NZS 1554, AWS D1.1, ISO 9606)

· Conduct welding inspections, including visual inspection, NDT, and quality checks

· Verify welder qualifications and ensure procedures are followed

· Prepare inspection reports and documentation for compliance

· Collaborate with engineers and project managers to maintain quality standards

· Identify and resolve welding defects and quality issues

Requirements:

· Certification as a Welding Inspector/Supervisor (IWE, IWT, IWI-S, IWI-B, CSWIP 3.1, AS 2214 & AS 1796 Ticket 10 or equivalent)

· Experience in welding supervision and inspection in industrial or construction projects

· Strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and defect identification

· Ability to interpret welding codes, drawings, and procedures

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
